Dear Reviewers, Reflectioneers. Memories of 2013, Past Purveyors, Old Acquaintance, The Forgotten, The Good and The Bad of 2013, People in Mourning, and People in Celebration, and of course all my Readers,

I would like to say Thank you to everyone who is reading this Blog and who read one or many of my thoughts in 2013.

I began 2013 with this similar image declaring 01.01.13 and I thought it would be fitting to end this year with the similar graphic that began it. So much has happened in 2013 and it now allows me to shed a coat and a cost of living expense that I am thankful to let go of.

I hope that you, my fair reader, come to experience moments of letting go and how freeing and renewing that moment is, and how it allows you to live your life a little brighter, a little more enthusiastically, and with a little more energy and passion than you did before.

I am sure and hopeful that in your circles of friends and relationships, that you are speaking and contemplating about your past 2013 year and how much you have grown, what changes you've seen, and what dreams succeeded, what dreams failed, and what you learned from all of it! If you haven't well, as you know, put it on your list for next year!

I am encouraged by what I learned about myself this year and by what I am learning of others. This is surely NOT the end of this Blog Site and I looked at my past to learn what changes I wanted to make, and I am looking forward to what I will take with me into the New Year as well as what I am leaving behind in 2013 when it passes.

I hope you write a letter to yourself and seal it up till next year so you can open it and find out what you thought of yourself in the events of the year. If you have not written a letter to yourself to be read at the end of 2014, I suggest you take some time this month and write one as a fun activity. Someone I value and respect shared this idea with me and I have been passing it on to as many people as I can. It seems like another growing moment to learn from, and I always encourage moments to grow and learn about yourself!

So I began this day watching News channels share the passing of 2013 across the globe and while I had some working hours, I also contemplated the significance of the 31st beginning in one place and ending in another, and throughout the day the new year is passing constantly, and here in my corner of the world globe, my time to see 2013 pass is rapidly approaching. It was quite interesting that celebration across the world was seemingly more about today and less about January 1st, however, I do hope that January 1st is celebrated as much. I sometimes wonder if both the 31st and the 1st should be Holidays across the world cultures.

So please be kind to yourselves, be safe in your celebrations, be forgiving to everything you are leaving in 2013, look for peace, seek the highest power of your spirituality, be courageous in following through with what you learn from your spiritual connections, and share your contemplations with others, you are a gift to the people you know, as they are gifts to you.

Peaceful Rest to 2013, a year I will be humble and thankful for in many ways, and happy to be letting go in many others.
