Dear Readers, Mathemeticians, Theorists, Day Dreamers, Wonderers, Revolutionaries, and others,

I would like to reflect today on the course of 11 out of 12 months. How a year goes by, how the 23rd hour comes up so quickly, how Saturday turns into Sunday, and the Moon turns Full once more if you've observed it too the last 2-3 nights casting it's bright white blue hue across the ground and landscape of our evening existance.
My random thoughts have been a little more sporadic lately and I do apologize for the inconsistencies of these posts. I hope you enjoy my wandering thoughts, my passionate pleas, my ideals trying to pursuade action on multiple levels, and other cohersions to reply and respond back to any one of these blogtemplation entries.
I am not sure how big the following is at this point, possibly around 10 people, but if you are one of these 10, Thank you for reading and checking out my site, I do enjoy checking the Stats on my page to find out my general page views and unique page views. Please DO NOT be discouraged, I don't know WHO you are, or any identification for that matter. I read Stats provided to me by the Site Publishing company and I get a sense of reality for viewers, its nice to know I have viewers at all actually!
So, here's to you, thank you for being viewers and readers to my site.
I would love to hear from you, your thoughts, your opinions, your feedback, your comments, all of it. If you have read the home page of this site, then you know that it is a unique community of people I would like to cultivate and encourage. So for now, you are the first! Thank you for being them!
Well back to 11/12ths....
The year has gone by so quick and in one month's time much of the world will be contemplating and reflecting and talking about 2012 and bringing in 2013.
I had lots of plans, and some of them have started, this site has been wonderful for me in many ways already, and I hope it continues to grow for years to come.
I found some new goals, I achieved or earned or was blessed or was rewarded or found a place to call home in my career for a while, and I hope and pray it continues.
Writing....
I hope you've come here to grow a little, read a little, decide to write a little, and begin to feel some community a little. I write to express, I create page additions to experiment, and learn some new skills. I enjoy music and share some videos to see how this site handles it. I hope to keep adding to each page a little more, as it only inspires me to grow in different directions. I hope you are enjoying that diversity as well. Thank you for coming back or clicking here for the first time.
I'm working on a book, and as you can see, my thought process and writing style are unique. This is only a Blogtemplation, so maybe not a true representation of what a book would read as, but maybe you're interested in what a book would read like from me. I am continuing on a timeline of writing development, and so I'll be curious to see myself complete the book for one, and then experience the editting process second and learn where my writing style will go. I hope you are here for that journey too. I'll keep you all posted for sure.
So it's a reflective mood I am in tonight.
It's knowing that 11 of the 12 months of this year have passed already. It's knowing that the Holidays are beginning to slow everyone down and work loads are easing up, travel plans are getting wound up, money is sliding into cash registers and products are flying off the shelves. Can you even keep track of all of it changing hands?
Is it a year you branch out and shake up the holiday experience or yearn for something reminscent of being home, or some familiar tradition or location you always go to and cuddle up in comfort and memories. I hope you value it no matter what it is.
So I will end this blogtemplation tonight by asking you write back and tell me all about your 11 of 12 months this year.
What are you beginning to reflect on?
What do you remember about 2012?
Is time speeding up or slowing down?
Does your opinion or comments agree with mine or contrast?
I look forward to any of your answers.
It's the 11th hour of the night, so I must save and publish this for now.
I hope you had a Happy Friday and the weekend gives you rest, peace, and time to contemplate....

Blogtemplation Entry: Being Prepared for Opportunity

Opportunity Preparedness
You're probably wondering why I have tilted this photo of an Opportunity Freeway exit sign. While there are plenty of websites, books, magazines, and motivational speakers to tell you all about Opportunity and being prepared for it, there is still nothing like real life to set application to all the talk, hype, and theory behind it.
I would like to share that I was jolted by not being prepared for Opportunity just recently and thus the reason for a tilted photo.
I was presented with an Opportunity to buy into a new housing community, the price seemed reasonable, the house square footage was worth the home value, and the location seemed to fit this phase of my life. However, after one night of considering the costs, risks of selling where I live with the timing of where I want to buy, the answer was painfully clear. I could not sign any contracts today in my financial state. I simply was not prepared to be house hunting, and with the holidays kicking off this past weekend, who really is anyways?
I would like to share how heart breaking it was to see a great property lot and a beautiful house slip out of my fingers, but in all reality, it was a dream to begin with. It's tough to realize when you're feeling like life is going in a positive direction, your comfort level gives you a little extra confidence, your eyes get a little wider for the next step in life, and you begin to have hopes and dreams that are tempting you a little stronger. The fall back to reality was hard for sure.
It took the rest of the day and into the next to really pick myself back up and get balanced with the concrete plans I had to keep working on, and staying in the house I currently live in. I'm comfortably writing from my small home office niche, and the simplicity of a single desk, shelves on a wall, a cork board on the opposite wall and stacks of papers that life seems to send you in the mail or print out when you pay bills online!
I think everyone has moments in life when you really wish you were ready for that opportunity that seems right for you, but something in the equation just wasn't right, not all the pieces fit, and any other cliche comment you can think of to play into the metaphor of missing that opportunity!
Everyone has a story for the opportunity that got away and the opportunity that worked out for them. I would love to hear your stories of  the ups and downs, the successes and the failures. If you can relate, or you would like to share advice, have some comfort words to remind me and others to look up for the next opportunity that I will be ready for next time, or just want to share. Please comment, or write me.
I think stories about life's challenges are always more inspiring from the people who live them. So keep living out there, and find the time to write back about your story!

Blogtemplation Entry:  Thanksgiving

A Happy Thanksgiving message:
Dear Readers, Food Connoisseurs, Devourers of the Feast, and more...,
It is early Thanksgiving morning and I thought I would get another short Blogtemplation out. I would like to share that my experiment to run a website has been a great learning experience. I have found that my time to enter Blogtemplations is random and sometimes I get busy and days fly by way too fast. I have many more months to go before I think I can have any credibility in words of wisdom about running a website, however, I do enjoy my learning curve of managing the site.
I hope that you are enjoying reading my thoughts as I post them. I will work on being more attentive to keeping current for continued interest and reading.
I must admit that I would like comments and feedback to begin appearing from readers. If you have suggestions or input as to why I am NOT getting comments or feedback currently, I would love to hear from you!
If you have suggestions or unput as to how I CAN get comments or feedback currently, I would love to hear from you too!
Thanksgiving is a time of being grateful for friends, family, and what you have learned from life events. I have learned many things from life events this year and I continue to do so. I hope to continue to grow, write, and express my thoughts in many ways in months to come.
Thank you to all my Family for being part of my life.
Thank you to all my Friends for being part of my life.
A shout out to the people in my life that are professionally part of my life as well.
I can't say enough about how beneficial it is that I have multiple ways to grow professionally, and the happiness that comes with continuing to grow as a human being.
Thank you to all the people I have yet to learn from or learn with in life.
I look forward to lots of Blogtemplation Entries and lots of sharing and written expression.
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!

Blogtemplation Entry: A barrel of toys connecting metaphors...

Dear Networkers, Employees, Friends, Supporters, Soul Searchers, Empathists, and the list of those who care to look out for their fellow co-workers, I applaud you today.

Today's blogtemplation is an extension of the value of that networking metaphor about how a barell of monkeys is the ideal of what networking is. There are several other similar metaphors and phrases about how a rising tide raises all boats, and famous quotes of that nature. I find however that this concept is a rare quality. I can't say if it is dying in our culture or if it is a lost artform, or just an underdeveloped trait in an economy still trying to come back from unemployment, who knows. I have been lucky to experience the application of this concept how ever it has come into existance and the human conscious.
I would like to say thank you to those of you that demonstrate this application well in your lives and can continue to teach it to others.
I believe in the most positive of this example is when co-workers tell you that they are "looking out for you", and there is a certain comfort in knowing you're somehow part of a connection of people who see the value in what you bring to their team or their life in some way, maybe it's purely career driven, maybe it's personal, however it happens, I think there is an intrinsic value in helping others around you to be successful.
If you should find someone in your life who believes in this concept, I highly recommend you retain them as a friend and reinforce that belief in the value of how monkeys in a barrel works.
There also seems to be similar value in the "Pay It Forward" concept, the "Leave it better than you found it", and if I had a link to a website with more famous quotes to that understanding, I would leverage that into this blog as well.
So to all those metaphors that rely on toys from our childhood to evolve our state of thinking and progress the virtue of society into the kind of people that support an honest day's work, see the working quality in their co-workers, embrace the value of people to put their best effort forward, and continue to spread networking concepts through old toys, I say continue on and thank you future thinking toy designers. While the best metaphors rely on the simplest of toys, I think it has been a very worth while endeavor. If you have any networking metaphors you have enjoyed or benefitted from, please share it.  If you know a metaphor or a story that you enjoy proclaiming its benefit from time to time, please share that as well. I look forward to all your comments, suggestions and metaphors you enjoy to prosper and push our human capacity to grow into more than we are today.

Blogtemplation Entry: The Value of...

Dear Contemplators, Dreamers, Doers, Activists, Pacifists, Givers, Recievers, Family, Friends, and many others,
I would like to write to you today a little early on the time of Giving Thanks swiftly approaching.
It's not just the time of year, but for me, it seems to be a time of life. You see, I've been thinking lately, such that I think a lot actually! And I have been thinking about the Value of many things in my life. I can't even prioritize the list in my head right now because there are so many things I miss or want or am continually seeing value for in my life. The Value of people is one of those. Family is great, and it's fun to see my family members grow and change over time. Friends are wonderful too, and watching their careers grow, seeing their posts on Facebook and other social media. People I know in social cirlces and local activities I participate in and seeing how they all are part of my daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly life. I VALUE people so much. It's what I get when I talk with them, it's what brightens my experience when I see them at fun activities, it's what gives me inspiration and hope when I read their posts and websites! As much as I enjoy writing, I am also a social human being as well. So I'd like to think I would have written this Blogtemplation today even without the whole November Holiday and Giving Thanks traditions going on. To all my Family, Friends, and people I interact with throughout my life, I take this opportunity to Appreciate, Encourage, Tip my hat, Give a hearty handshake, Extend an unconditional friendly embrace, and several other words that also mean... Thank You.
Thank you for all the Value you give my life, and I can only hope that my experiences with you, also give back or reciprocate a small piece of endearing value back to you.
If you have someone or something that is valuable to you, please let me know, or comment about Value in your life and why you're thankful for it. I would enjoy hearing your stories and experiences.
Happy Prepping for all the food being shared around tables and between people over the following days and weeks.

Blogtemplation Entry: Time for celebration...

11/9/2012

I would like to give a shout out to some people who will remain nameless, however, it seems that today may be your birthday or at least the month of November is a time of celebration for many people and for many reasons!
There are so many events in the month of November and it seems lots of events that are not calendar driven as well.
I think celebration is in order this Holiday season as many people have come through difficult times in their life, and we all know that the East Coast Sandy survivors are still suffering and may need some spirit lifting and celebration in their lives to carry them through. I have had some conversations lately and it seems that the best way to keep yourself motivated towards any goal is to celebrate the progress you have made.
I would like to suggest that celebration is not always a big party and lots of money towards gifts and food and drinks, but celebration may be also smaller versions that the human spirit just needs to keep moving forward.
I think we all need to define celebration for ourselves, and then feel fulfilled with the reward you've set. I would like to hear from any and all of you out there on this topic. Is the word "Celebration" to big to contain? Is it too awestruck and filled with extravangance? Can the human spirit celebrate on smaller scales and recieve the same benefit of empowerment that grander scales offer? I would like to think that the human spirit needs doses of celebration and encouragement in life.
Sometimes it's a meal out with a friend, sometimes its a conversation with a friend or family member or loved one. I would like to think that any time people get together with each other, that some form of celebration happens simply out of social gathering. Now I know I know, the human capacity for connection to others socially ranges greatly, and there certainly is  a scale of people who are extroverted and people who are introverted. If you have ever taken a Myers-Briggs test, then you know there are other variations in personality and indicators in how you interact with people and the world around you. I am sure there are other personality tests as well, and the corporate world has it's share of personality indicators it uses as well to find the right employees for their companies.
In any case, I would like to suggest that the concepr of celebration is not lost on anyone. Find your measure of celebration, define your reward, and I hope you find time in your day, your week, or this month to celebrate.
Let me know how your celebrations work out readers, writers, visionaries, and thinkers of our day.

Blogtemplation Entry: There has to be a better way...

Dear Activists, Revolutionaries, and Take Charge people out there!

I am in a postion of struggle these days. I find myself coming upon moments of issues that seem to me to be a true cause worthiness, however, I am one person, and I don't have the time, energy, or monetary support to follow through on every strong sense of civic duty or human outreach to solve these issues.
I would like to think that everyone has these moments in life, and sometimes writing a letter to your local official or newspaper can help move society or local organizations towards action or change. I'd like to think that this website will one day be one of those sources of community engagement that pushes people into action, one step at time though, that is the common phrase of belief right?
Let me get to the point, my specific cause came to me Sunday night at the grocery store. I talked with the cashier about the sudden disappearance of pumkins and other October goods I had still seen just last week. He told me that all those products were seasonal and were now gone. We talked about pumpkins and he said that many of them were written off and thrown out. He went on to tell me that the deli has similar occurances all the time, they have unused portions of deli products and for all intense purposes are still good to use, but they write them off and throw them out, how wasteful!
Waste, that is what I have been noticing in small amounts, but as a greater society, we watch show after show about recycling and companies that are more and more green, and what about the cooking network that opened up about wasted food that could be cooked and used. (February 2012 Waste & Recycling News ) I am not sure how local communities can change grocery store policy and waste habits, but it seems to me that something needs to be done. There are homeless communities in all parts of the United States and food shelters do their best to stock up, but year in and year out they still call up local news stations and radio shows for support and food drives.
What if the gap between grocery store waste and shelters that need food could be closed?
What if jobs could be created to remedy waste from happening?
What if FDA food limits could be pushed to the very edges so that hungry people could eat and survive one more day?
Isn't that worth a cause?
Isn't that worth the time and energy of people and resources to make happen?
I am happy to stir up conversation, encourage comments, support communication in multiple media outletts, and research networking avenues to get people together.
If you have answers or conversation on the topic, please write back.
There are many causes every day that go by because in the moment, you are one person, what can you do, right? I hope to change that feeling of hopelessness. There has to be a better way. When I talk with people, they know, they see, they have similar hopes. Mine is to turn thought into action in many ways, for many people, and many issues or projects to be taken up. There has to be a better way...

Blogtemplation Entry: Explantions & Some Catching up to do...

Let me explain...
You see, as per the posted Moon Calendar, it's been a busy end of October, and here it is NOVEMBER 1 st already!
I hope you get chance to read my short entry about my Return from the 3-Day adventure on an Elementary school event. I did actually write that the night I returned, however, my computer decided to turn itself off, and out of frustration, I did not return to blogging til this date. I do ap0logize to readers, and also found that my provider, Weebly, somehow kindly saved the Draft for me to post to you here on November 1st. Please read the "Return of the..." Blogtemplation Entry as intended from a Friday night October 26th perspective. Thank you.
Now, as for the other dates on the Calendar image above, the 27th-31st!
Take a deep breath all, here we go...
October 27, 28 2012 - Saturday/Sunday
The weekend found me quite tired and trying to catch up in many ways. Have you ever noticed that you expend lots of work and energy for a few days and it takes at least as many days to feel like you are back to normal or balanced again? I would implore you to view life as a leverage and folcrum when it comes to how you give of yourself to the world and your activities and how you recieve the fuel for those activities back into yourself. I am sure that everyone is built different and either through nature or nurture, have figured out where and how the best version of yourself operates and runs in daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly life. To those of you that have figured it out, Congrats! To those of you who are still working on it, I join you in support, because I am still a work in progress myself! Cheers to finding any solice and peace on the weekends or down times between your working cycles.

As for the dates of Monday the 29th, Tuesday the 30th, and Wednesday the 31st, well here goes a short breakdown of posts I would have liked to have made on those dates!

October 29, 2012 - Monday

I believe Monday was officially a Full Moon, and as with any full moon astrological, astronomical, and other full moon-ical events, it is usually a sign of abundance and hope and prosperity and time of sharing that greater fullness which the Moon boasts above in the sky. If you ever need strength to start on a new project or personal conquest, I think I would suggest started them on full moon nights or the day of a full moon, to each their own, right?
I started a personal project and I am finding I need every bit of energy I can get to push myself to learn some consistency in this personal project. If you have any insight in how you gear up and push forward in your own projects, I would be happy to hear your views! I think starting anything new takes a lot of start up personal energy, and those of you that have learned a thing or two about starting anything new, please pipe up and share! I wish you and anyone else well in your personal projects, as I have embarked on mine. If you wish to share about your personal projects, beging, middle, or even end and succcesses, please share that as well!

October 30, 2012 - Tuesday
Tuesday carries on with the Full Moon cycle, so anything having to do with the day prior has some affect on the day after, doesn't it? It is also the day before Halloween or All Hallows Eve in the Chritian Communities. If you don't have your costume figured out yet or your pumpkin purchased and carved, it's time to get on it!
(To be honest, I am not sure I would have posted much more than wishing everyone well on getting ready for the big Holiday kick off of Halloween parties. If you had not attended one yet, the official Halloween date was the closing ceremony of these dates, so my mind was drawing a little of a blank, while lots of support and encouragement to all celebrating the Spooky Holiday!)

October 31, 2012 - Wednesday
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
If any of you are fans of the ABC TV series "Castle", I dressed up as the Writer and Co-Star himself, Richard Castle. I had two of his books as props and I cleverly wrote the word "WRITER" on an old T-Shirt in black sharpie wearing a blue button down businesshirt over top. I tried to style my hair accordingly, but I think I ran the part on the wrong side, so much for using a mirror! I double checked some of his famous quotes online, and I really liked the one; "I really am Ruggedly Handsome!". There are several others, but impressions of Richard Castle are more flair, attitude, and charisma I think. I enjoyed picking a TV series character this year. What did the rest of you choose?
I had some traditions with family; ours are eating grilled cheese and tomatoe blood soup, handing out candy, and taking a walk around the neighborhood, candy collecting included. Neighborhoods grow up, families come and go, but this year's welcoming homes and family friendly decorations seemed to be hanging in there on the average. I thought candy hand outs were generous, lit or decorated porches were easy to recognize, and for a Full Moon Halloween, it really was a worthwhile Holiday experience this year. I hope you all enjoyed yours this year too. If you have the time to report back, please do, I would love to hear about your adventures and experiences.

The End of October...
Well that seems to wrap it up for me and the month of October. Thanks for being patient with me and while maybe forced, allowing me to catch up and bring consistency back to the blog to kick off November!
More writing, more thoughts, and more community building to come, I hope you all start to "like" or comment on this site soon. I'll be here writing and continuing to blog either way. Thanks for visiting. I look forward to writing exchange and creative process to follow.

Blogtemplation Entry: Return of the ...

11/1/2012

Readers, Scholars and Gentle-people,

I would like to share in the finite hours of the new day, that I RETURNED from the adventure that was the Elementary School event I wrote about previously, and yet a couple days ago. The event was extremely well planned, I have to give credit to the teachers and staff that put this 3 day event together. The experiences I had and the kids had, were something everyone will remember for many years, and was a very positive in personal reward. The only regret I have is that some of the experiences were not recorded in detail like so many reality TV shows. There were skits performed at the end of the event to mark, remember, and characterize or make fun of the workshops the students participated in. I wish we could have recorded that and many other amazing moments in the entire event experience. I would love watching the entire 3 days unfold all over again. If it were a movie, there would be many quotes to be made famous and an equal amount of comedic exchanges people would memorize and reference in conversation. I was lucky to be paired with two other great adults and a total student group of 9. For some reason there is a certain magic in the number 9 and how three adults can skillfully coach and chaparone those students through workshop after workshop, as well as through meals. I would like to think there was time to journal or capture thoughts each night of the 3 day event, but honestly, I was tired and needed my sleep. The days started early and nights ended late. I was happy to exert the energy for it found it a worth cause that also gave back to me.
If you ever find yourself in the unique position to participate I highly encourage it.
