Dear Auld Acquaintences...
I don't have long as I am off to one more family End of Year gathering. It's been an exciting kick off to this site this year and one to compltemplate much. I will have to write a much more elabotate and involved Blogtemplation another time. However, as a last post in 2012, I would like to say thank you to all my readers, viewers, enjoyers of Established Contemplation.
I hope to continue to build, encourage, and grow this site, a community, and a vision of supported writing communities. I have much to look forward to, but I would like to look back and thank and communicate such appreciation for what  I have learned so far. This is just the beginning, and I hope all of you reading, observing and wondering what will come of this site or why it exists, thank you for being there. It's been an amazing 2o12 in many ways. Please write and comment and let me know your insights to 2012 as it comes to a glorious end. Thank you 2012!

Blogtemplation: Christmas Catch-Up!

Dear Holiday Vacationers, Fireplace readers, sunggled up snoozers, Gift Exchangers, and Family gatherers...
I hope your December was "One to Remember" as they say. I can tell you that I spent time driving off to California and let me give a Shout Out to one beautiful and enjoyable wedding. If you planned or enjoyed any precious once in a life time moments this December, then Congratulations to you all!
It's been a busy time of year and one that I have also found the human body is most susceptible to give up and let common cold/flu like symptoms take over. Some plans slipped away and new ones took their place. As with life, all things work out in the end. I enjoyed Christmas Eve at home after a long drive back to Arizona. The family finally lay sunggled in bed, and all the typical "Mamma in her kerchief and I in my cap all settled down for a long winter's nap." Seemed to take place this year. Christmas morning began early at 4am and I am sure all of you have similar stories to share that kicked off at some very early hour and unravelled from there. I enjoyed my gifts this year and while it was late, we finally got our "Merry Christmas" Cards sent off into the mail this past weekend. I hope everyone enjoys their picture cards as they arrive over the course of the next post office mail week. Some got their cards via a Facebook post which seemed to be an acceptable trend.
If you shared Christmas via a social network site or social software exchange, I would love to hear about it!
Well, I apologize for the late December post, but here it is finally.
I have a new camera for pictures, so hopefully more images and possible video footage will end up on the site hereafter. I made some nice purchases for the family also, we were blessed this year, and I wrote an acceptable Christmas letter explaining all to family in one single page, which is an accomplishment in and of itself. It was not as much as I would have liked to share and explain, however, it was a nice broad view of the positive moments in our life for all to read about. I am sure the Family will appreciate it.
Did you write a Family or Life Christmas letter to friends and loved ones this year? Please write or comment back about your views on end of year Christmas letters, I would enjoy hearing how people accept or have put away that writing tradition!
Thanks for reading, and I hope you write, comment, or share your Christmas Stories and views to the site.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

Blogtemplation Entry: On the Twelth day of Christmas my true love gave to me

Dear Readers, Wisdom providers, tellers of the old adage, folklore spinners, fable weavers, acknowledgers of alchemy, and listeners to allegory, I implore you today on this the 12th day of the 12th month of the 12th year of this century...
It is with great joy that I am also joining in on ths opportunity to blogtemplate something about this unique day. I have heard about the many couples who are seeking marriage on this day, and I know of one who is taking advantage of that, and if you know who you are, well, you're probably at the alter, or in a courtroom and NOT reading my blog today. Blessings to YOU today!!
In other news people are finding ways to enjoy the significance of the event that happens once every century for the number 12. I have heard radio stations commenting on both sides about the interest and also the commoness of the numerical phenomenon. However, being a part of  it in your lifetime, I believe is something to enjoy noting, maybe sharing a story or two, and making debate about the numerical significance in some part of your day today. If you would like to share the debate you particiapted in, or have a comment about this 12th day of the 12th month of the 12th year of this century, please comment or like this blogtemplation today.
Other numerical events that are fun to share and reminisce about are people who are born on leap year and are only celebrating their 16th birthday at age 64, and of course how can you forget the other dates that have passed in this century already: 01.01.01, 2.2.02, 3.3.03, 4.4.04, 5.5.05, 6.6.06, 7.7.07, 8.8.08, 9.9.09, 10.10.10, and the mostly recently famous just over one year ago; November 11, 2011. The unfortunate part is that we don't have a 13th month, so in many ways this wraps up all the available dates when we will see the same number 3 times. So make good on all the positive vibes, juju, legends, fascination, hocuspocus, conjury, divination and other words that also mean superstition of the event!
I mentioned the also famous lyric from the Holiday Favorite; The Twelve Days of Christmas. I have made a focused effort this year to begin and hopefully end my Christmas shopping early. I did not get caught up in all the Black Friday affairs or mad rush of sales, however I feel like I have taken advantage of good sales in general, I hope you are doing as well in your finances. The down side is that I also find my funds disappear just as rapidly. On a note about finances, I hope you are giving to your local charities and giving donations in your time and your extra cash on hand. I'll speak on this not to brag, but to encourage all of you out there to give in some way this season. I took part in a Generosity task recently and recieved great joy in putting myself through the experience. It has also set into motion an awareness to continue to give and be mindful that giving is not just something we need to do during the holidays. I hope you find your time and talent in giving to some organization or some event or task you feel your community needs. I hope your benefits are humble, yet rewarding to your spirit. If you have any stories to share, I would encourage you to write about that as well and leave comments on this site.
Lastly on today's blogtemplation I hope to impart my greatest support to anyone starting anything new or important in their lives today. If you are simply continuing on important aspects and ventures in your life, this is also worth noting and something I support as well. Beginning something new requires many skills, patience, and energy to get going, however maintaining that forward effort requires different and important skills of persistence, perciverence, and strength of character and other areas as well. May today be the burst of energy you need at either phase of your life, or phase of the task ahead of you.
As always, please write back, like this page, and/or share your comments and stories with me and this site. I encourage community growth and writing all the time. Thank you for reading today.

Blogtemplation Entry: Reasons to Celebrate!

12/7/2012

Dear Enthusiasts, Positive Thinkers, Encouragers, Heart Warmers, and Celebrationists,
I am sure I made up a few new terms in that last line, but I would like to share Celebration today.
While it is December 7th, Pearl Harbor Day, and we remember today more than celebrate it in our American history books, I would like to celebrate the American Spirit for all that survived, found resilence, fought, stood by each other, mended each other's wounds, and took great courage and bravery in the tragic events that unfolded.
A moment of silence for those that passed...

In light of that day, some years later, I would like to share a note of renewal and of birth.

Specifically I would like to share the moment of the birth of my Brother! Here is to you my Brother, Happy Birthday!!! Thanks for all you are as a Husband to your Family and a Man of my bloodline. I know the Family and our sisters are blessed to have you in our lives. Thanks Mom and Dad for bringing my brother into this world today.
Now Celebrate!

To everyone reading today, I hope you have moments to reflect on the traits that make people GREAT and moments to CELEBRATE the life of people around you.
Today is a short message, but if you have something you would like to reflect, please share it. If you have someone or event you would like to celebrate, please share that too! I look forward to the views and comments of the readers and writers who enjoy this blogtemplation.

Blogtemplation Entry: Generosity Journey...

Generosity Journey
I named this Entry apptly so because I have been on an adventure this week after attending a Community Church service this past weekend. I am sure that each of you and most people, have moments in life when you feel compelled to help or support a friend in your life. I believe it is a great quality in the human spirit to reach out to one another and give something of yourself or your time to someone, some group, some cause, or some action that your particular skills and abilities would most benefit. Sometimes generosity is difficult to accept on the recieving end, and in that case, I offer advice of gentleness, understanding, and an unconditional love to support that moment to come to resolution and pass as peacefully as possible.
To refocus on my experience, and an experience I hope and encourage you, the readers, to take up some time, call it an experiment. I was given $5.00 in a task that it was not mine to keep, but mine to give away. There was an option to add to the $5.00 and then give it, which is something I decided to do. Being an adult of sound mind and sound body, I decided I could reach out to my local community and find out who else might be willing to add to this and support a purpose and cause I had on my heart to give to. In this adventure I shared the story of the Community Church service which set me on this path and briefly that I had a purpose on my heart to give to and was looking to grow this generosity. I discovered that the following happened, in no particular order; people gave me more money to add to the generosity, people shared how they were already giving generously to another cause or purpose, or to ask me to give to their cause or purpose!
It has been an exciting adventure and a growth moment for me to experience each of these situations. I will share that my adventure continues through the end of this week, and the Community Church tasked its attending participants to complete this generous giving by the end of the week before the next weekend service. I will have to write one more Blogtemplation Entry to share the results of my Generosity Journey.
It's been a risk for me to share my story and ask others to add to this generosity, as you can imagine the range of situations I might come across, and even sharing on this Blogtemplation I am sure will cause some of you to have opinions and thoughts of your own. However, I would like to share that I am growing through this journey because of it. Further more, I would like to challenge all of you to take up a Generosity Journey of your own, and report back to me how your experience was!
The nice part about this Generosity Journey is that it is already that time of year in the social collective minds and spirit that the Holidays are a time to give anyways, so I would hope that success would be more often the result than failure. I am meeting many interesting people and hearing interesting stories. I would enjoy hearing YOUR interesting stories as well about who you meet, what your Generosity Journey is about, and how it concludes!
This opportunity has been one to Contemplate for sure, and the follow up action has been a blessing I did not expect. I challenge you to contemplate your Generosity Journey, and act on it!
Please come back and comment, like, and share your results with me here at The Establishment of Contemplation. I wish you Luck, Joy, and Safety in your Adventure and Generosity Journey!
