Dear Readers, Taste Testers, Dining Critics, Foodies,  Food Officianatos, Restaurant Reviewers, Sweet Geniuses, Eye Candy Creators, Taste Sensationalists, Diners of the Senses, mixed with  Seekers and Self Discoverers, Journeypeople of the mind, and Transformers of the internal, I share the following...
Transformation is hard work. While love can carry you and comfort you emotionally along the way, the body is weak and needs rest and recovery. You may notice a baking sheet with tastey treats in my graphic today, these are one of my favorite, spinach rolls! The recipe is often found on the back of frozen pastry boxes, but certainly you can add your own style and flavor twist to this delicious snack or in my case, comfort food.
I would like to suggest the extreme value to comfort foods and their abilty to bring your body rest and recovery while you transforming or nearing the end of transformation. I enjoy making and baking spinach rolls as much as eating them simply for the aroma that fills the kitchen and house, which is also on the list for rest and recovery as much as the booming industry of aroma therapy is to the mass relaxationalists. With Love in your ears supporting your transformation, remember to nurish and eat for your body and physical nutrition.
I am curious what you enjoy as your comfort foods? In the spirit of contemplation, please share the food that helps your body relax and recover? It is Spring Break for many in the month of March and the local pubs and restaurtant establishments are also taking advantage of the Saint Patrick's Day food celebrations which are sure to be in the realm of rest and recovery, or at least recovery the following day of St. Patrick's Day!
Let me know what food or snack inspires you to rest and recover?
What family recipe do you dig out of some book or box of 3 by 5 cards?
Who do you share your special recipes and food delights with?
Do you break out a pot luck inspired event among friends?
I'd enjoy hearind your thoughts and stories about Food, Friends, Rest and Recovery, write it, share it, discuss it, and contemplate it!
I hope you are all doing well in your transformation days, keep contemplating those new discoveries about and within yourself, with a little rest and recovery along the way.
Thank you for reading another blogtemplation, Your Contemplative Friend....
