The Inspiration to Write
What inspires you to write? This photo was taken in September of 2007, I was in New York visiting family with the memory of September 11th only a few days ahead. This photo is famous in Central Park, and I am sure it is not the first time it has been decorated with flowers, and I am sure it is not the last. I can look at this photo and it inspires memories, it inspires a feeling, it inspires a reason to keep writing, to keep creativity alive, to continue to Imagine, right?
I have dreams of many things I would like to write, and I have some works in progress, but I need my short term goals too. I need to express my thoughts and share some form of authorship with the world, so here you have it. You are reading this blog because I had a dream that needed the light of day, and quite truthfully, I am enjoying the benefits already, just writing this blog.
What inspires ME to write? Luckily, LOTS of things ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
One day I would like to have many viewers and readers and offer a topic that starts conversations between people, and offer my skills and career background to projects that need it, however I can be patient too. Until my writing can support an income, I write because it drives me. I write because there are so many topics to write on or about, how can one NOT be inspired to write all the time? Words, thoughts, expression, it flows from me so fast, so quickly, so rapidly that it is all I can do to find some outlett for the writing. I'll need editing and revision for my more formal work and for work that might have a chance for income, but I would enjoy that too. I am inspired to write because my heart beats as a writer, my soul operates as it recieves from the world and gives back in expression of words and text finding meaning and life in some form of media.
I saw the term "Blog" evolve as technology evolved over the past 10-15 years. There was this newspaper article talking about "Web Logs" and then the term "Blog" forged itself. I hope you enjoy my evolutionary change of the term for this site, as I tried to merge "Contemplation" with "Blog" and created a term I am coming to be more and more endeared with. I hope you like the continuation of the term "Blogtemplation". I am happy, blessed, and enjoying this accessible outlett to express and bring words and my thoughts to the reading world.
My thoughts might tango terrifically, my ponderings might paso doble persuasively, my musings might merenge musically, my wanderings might west coast swing wistfully, and the metaphors might meander too long, and the similies smatter about too sporadically, however, all this can be fixed in the editing process. Concise control can be contained, aliteration can be aligned to standards, and spell check can run rampant before the final print. All these things I am inspired by in writing.
In summary, I hope you find the thing that inspires you to write. If I can be a source or a support, let me know. The site will grow, my thoughts will expand, and writing will continue. Thank you for another flow of consciousness. I hope you enjoyed my writing again. Be inspired, and Write...
