Dear Holiday Vacationers, Fireplace readers, sunggled up snoozers, Gift Exchangers, and Family gatherers...
I hope your December was "One to Remember" as they say. I can tell you that I spent time driving off to California and let me give a Shout Out to one beautiful and enjoyable wedding. If you planned or enjoyed any precious once in a life time moments this December, then Congratulations to you all!
It's been a busy time of year and one that I have also found the human body is most susceptible to give up and let common cold/flu like symptoms take over. Some plans slipped away and new ones took their place. As with life, all things work out in the end. I enjoyed Christmas Eve at home after a long drive back to Arizona. The family finally lay sunggled in bed, and all the typical "Mamma in her kerchief and I in my cap all settled down for a long winter's nap." Seemed to take place this year. Christmas morning began early at 4am and I am sure all of you have similar stories to share that kicked off at some very early hour and unravelled from there. I enjoyed my gifts this year and while it was late, we finally got our "Merry Christmas" Cards sent off into the mail this past weekend. I hope everyone enjoys their picture cards as they arrive over the course of the next post office mail week. Some got their cards via a Facebook post which seemed to be an acceptable trend.
If you shared Christmas via a social network site or social software exchange, I would love to hear about it!
Well, I apologize for the late December post, but here it is finally.
I have a new camera for pictures, so hopefully more images and possible video footage will end up on the site hereafter. I made some nice purchases for the family also, we were blessed this year, and I wrote an acceptable Christmas letter explaining all to family in one single page, which is an accomplishment in and of itself. It was not as much as I would have liked to share and explain, however, it was a nice broad view of the positive moments in our life for all to read about. I am sure the Family will appreciate it.
Did you write a Family or Life Christmas letter to friends and loved ones this year? Please write or comment back about your views on end of year Christmas letters, I would enjoy hearing how people accept or have put away that writing tradition!
Thanks for reading, and I hope you write, comment, or share your Christmas Stories and views to the site.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.
